Thank you Clive.

I am proud to say that it has been chosen to be the front cover of book titled: Il Cantastorie di Marrakech. My Italian is none existent but I'm told it translates to 'The Storyteller of Marrkech'.

I love how it makes you want to go and save those mountains of spice from falling down xD
Also, I was curious what that odd looking pink one in the background was. I've never seen any spices that color.

I'm not sure what it is, it may have been a colour dye?

besides being a beautiful photo - how do they take away this spice from those pyramides without causing them to fall apart and shedding the material? I'm just curious, I was never there before ..

Honestly, I don't think they do. Each time I went anywhere near the spices, some dude would come running out with a little bag full of the stuff.

If it helps, I thought the same thing too for a while.

Maybe this spice is not very light but rather pretty heavy so that it can be treatened like sand. That would even make more sense just because no pile could lie there peacefully without having to worry about the first breeze of wind.

Thank you for the feature and I am touched by your kind comments in your journal. I also agree MSBLADE is a great dA friend to have.

I have a number of photographs from Morocco that I have not yet had chance to submit, which I think you may like.

Once again thank you.
